As a seasoned Métis wilderness guide, pipe carrier, traditional knowledge keeper, wisdom holder, educator, writer and book author I'm often asked to speak at conferences and events. I also speak at schools, colleges, universities, churches, government agencies, institutions and organizations. I give presentations virtually, inside, and outside on the land. I share a wealth of traditional Métis knowledge that I've learned over the years. I positively promote Métis Wisdom, Algonquin Worldview and all the traditional teachings I've learned to live my own life by.
My new book, Quest for the Thunderbird Nest, is a wonderful way to discover the human power of traditional storytelling. This book also presents the healing practices of thunderbird medicine in direct relation to personal empowerment through the vision quest.
My storytelling presentations give people a unique opportunity to learn the most obvious human reality which is: We're all Native to the Earth. This circular worldview is taught to us by our wise elders as shared by the traditional teachings of The Four Directions.
The aim of my presentations is to bring needed awareness to the power of traditional spiritual knowledge by sharing the unique "hybrid nature" of Métis Indigenous wisdom, worldview and teachings. Speaking events help our fast-paced, modern, material and technological society to understand that great wisdom exists within traditional Indigenous knowledge. It is good medicine for us all.
